Marco Percoco is a professor in economics of infrastructure, energy and the environment at Università Bocconi in Milan and an adviser in investment and asset valuation and in service and concession regulation.

Professor of Applied Economics at Bocconi University and Adviser in regulatory disputes, antitrust cases and investment project appraisal

He provides economic consultancy services in the fields of regulation and antitrust, as well as in the evaluation of infrastructure and real estate projects for investment funds, companies, and leading law firms.

Currently, he serves as an expert in the PNRR Mission Unit of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, specializing in investment project evaluation and as an expert in energy policy and ecological transition in the PNRR Mission Unit of the Prime Minister Office. Recently, he was an economic adviser in the Draghi Government, member of the Nucleo Tecnico per la Politica Economica (NTPE) at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, as well as Vice-Chairman of the Bureau of the UNECE Working Party on PPPs and a member of the Commission on Climate Change, Infrastructure, and Sustainable Mobility at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility. He was also Co-Chair of the Special Interest Group on Transport Pricing and Economic Regulation of the World Conference on Transport Research Society.

In the past, he has served as a consultant for the OECD, the World Bank, the IADB, the European Investment Bank, the Government of Ethiopia, and several ministries and regional governments. Additionally, he was a member of the Committee for the Regulation of Public Services (NARS) and the Public Investment Evaluation and Verification Unit (NUVV) at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
