Marco Percoco is the founding director of the GREEN – Center for research in Geography, Resources, Environment, Energy and Networks at Università Bocconi in Milan where he is also a professor of Applied Economics in the Department of Social and Political Sciences.

Professor of Applied Economics at Bocconi University and Adviser in regulatory disputes, antitrust cases and investment project appraisal

He has published more than 100 papers in such fields as regional science and transport, energy and environmental economics. Currently, he serves as an economic advisor in the Prime Minister Office, is a member of the Commission on Climate Change, Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility at the Minister of Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility and is a Vice-chairman of the Bureau of the UNECE Working Party on PPP.

In the past, Marco was a member of the Evaluation Unit (NUVV) and of the Regulatory Unit (NARS) in the Prime Minister Office. He has advised the World Bank, the IADB, the EIB, the Ethiopian Government and several Italian ministries on issues related to infrastructure valuation and regulation. Currently, Marco acts as a consultant on regulatory and competition issues as well as in project analysis in the infrastructure and real estate sectors, advising corporations and legal firms.
